FAIR issued a press release today in response to the recent sweeping changes in immigration enforcement policy issued by the White House and Dept. of Homeland Security (DHS). Additionally, FAIR filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request about how the policy changes were formulated and how they will be executed, as well as sending an official letter to DHS Sec. Janet Napolitano seeking clarification about how the Administration proceeded to make sweeping policy changes without congressional authorization.
