Hollywood produced the last sequel to “Back to the Future” 22 years ago. Thanks to Senators Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Scott Brown (R-Mass.) Congress may soon fill the void with “Back to the Future: The E-3 Guest Worker Visa.” This production will star 10,500 new Irish guest workers eager to fill American jobs and supporting cast made up of unlimited numbers of spouses and children (up to age 21).
While the original “Back to the Future” may have been a pleasant trip down memory lane to America of the 1950s, the bill being (S. 1983) promoted by Schumer and Brown is far from benign. Aside from the obvious fact that there is no need for an additional 10,500 guest workers in the current economy, the legislation marks a regression back to an immigration policy for which there should be no nostalgia. The legislation is designed to benefit people of a single nationality: the Irish. Irish immigrants may have a powerful lobby, and they may flex some political muscle in New York and Massachusetts, but an immigration policy that gives preference to people based on their country of origin is a path America must never follow again.
FAIR is sharply critical of our current immigration policy, but we’ve always opposed reforms that discriminate in favor or against any group or nationality. We need to change our policies so that they serve America’s environmental, societal, and economic interests today and into the future. That means a policy where immigrants are selected on their merits, not on their country of origin or who they happen to be related to. Moreover, the bill Schumer and Brown are promoting will inevitably result in other ethnic groups demanding special visas in the future.
Our Government Relations department has put together a great summary of this bill and I urge you to take a look at it and familiarize yourself with this piece of legislation.
We’ve seen this picture before and it wasn’t a good one. We don’t need a sequel.

I DISAGREE with FAIR on this one. The U.S should try to get immigrants from developed countries with a cultural and historical link to the U.S. Culturally the United States is an extension of Europe and we should make it easier for European immigrants to come to our country. YES, we should have an immigration policy that discriminates based on national origin; people from 3rd world countries or culturally dissimilar countries should generally not be allowed in.
I agree. When we opened the immigration doors to the third world in 1964 the mess we are in now is the result of that mistake. Our tax dollars are being wasted on helping to support millions of poor that should never have been allowed into the US in the first place. And all of us will pay forever for the mistakes of a few deceased politicians.
Chad: Our immigration policy should never grant anything of nature to one race/national origin; that would be racist in of itself. We, America, should be focused on drastically reducing immigration. Our current infrastructure and budgets are stretched beyond belief. Our national unemployment is near 9% (reportedly much higher). People seriously believe we should continue importing labor and students?
We have to get rid of the deaf Congressmen/women who refuse to listen to the voice of the people. Send the illegals back and close the borders. Do your job and stop making excuses and costing American Citizens their livelihoods, their homes, their retirement, their families togetherness, etc. Congress can go live in a tent in the West for a month and then tell us that they know best! Stop all benefits to Congress and no more raises. This will help to offset the cost to send the illegals back. Then, make e-verify mandatory which in itself will send illegals back on their own to the jobs they left to come here. Get rid of the deaf and dumb so-called public servants.

Immigrants have gained more than 600,000 jobs since the official end of the Great Recession in June 2009, according to a newly released study.
Native-born workers fared far worse, shedding 1.5 million jobs, according to an analysis by the Pew Hispanic Center of U.S. Census Bureau and Department of Labor data.
Foreign-born workers picked up 656,000 jobs over the 12-month period, driving down that population’s unemployment rate half a point to 8.7 percent. Immigrant workers make up 15.7 percent of the labor force.
The gains, however, were not nearly enough to make up for 1.1 million jobs lost among immigrants from second-quarter 2008 through second-quarter 2009. And immigrants experienced a sharp decline in median weekly earnings — down 4.5 percent., compared to a loss of less than 1 percent for the native born.
“The unemployment rate for immigrants is still more than double the rate prior to the recession when it stood at 4.0 percent in the second quarter of 2007,” the study said.
Released on Friday, the report was not able to separately identify illegal immigrants because that status was not recorded in the source data. It found that Hispanic immigrants experienced the largest drop in earnings of all ethnic and racial groups.
The report focused on the period from the second quarter of 2008 to the second quarter of 2009, when most of the job losses during the recession occurred, and the subsequent 12 months that marked the first year of recovery from the recession.

A sure place to start in stopping the depression of wages is to begin with the CEO and downward through the ranks of the VIPs. Let us demand a salary for the CEO of any company to be reduced to a figure under the $900,000 mark and no perks. If this be the case, we will very quickly see an end to salary depression of the mid-lower class. As we all know, this is a strategy to control the masses (we are no longer considered citizens or people. We are now called “the masses”) Assuming that we don’t count, we might unite and stop paying taxes. Then, we could re-build this nation on the Constitution as written and rid the nation of the Deaf and Dumb, bribed, poor excuses of so-called public servants. They ALL have to go.

Where in the US Constitution does it state we can/should limit one’s salary? You have a few choices in terms of limiting a CEO’s salary:
1. Purchase stock and vote!
2. Do not purchase the companie’s products and hit them in their bottom line!
3. Continue pushing your marxist agenda.
4. Relocate to a non-competitve, marxist country and denounce your American citizenship; we don’t need you.

Frank Sharry, Founder and Director of pro-amnesty group America’s Voice and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Tex.) went was caught up in a verbal confrontation in The Huffington Post. Sharry calls Chairman Smith’s mandatory E-verify bill “anti-immigrant legislation” and “unworkable and expensive bureaucracy.” Sharry claims the bill would “grant the federal government the authority to approve or disapprove every new hire in America.” That is how it should be, and rejection from being hired. A relatively simple solution that guarantees foreigners begin Mitt Romney’s ‘self-deportation’ antidote, better known as Attrition through Enforcement. Of Course Sharry doesn’t individualize between a legal immigrant and illegal immigrant as it should be acknowledged or the Liberal media.
Rep. Smith defended E-Verify by saying the web-based program “quickly identifies illegal workers and protects jobs for citizens by checking Social Security numbers and ID of newly hired employees” and describes E-Verify as “free, quick and easy to use.”
Rep. Smith cites a Rasmussen poll which found that 82% of likely voters think all businesses should be required to use E-Verify. Sharry, this open border individual and is now so frustrated and angry that millions of businesses have chosen to use E-Verify–both voluntary and state mandatory, that this far left progressive is reduced to name calling.
Sen. Lamar Smith’s E-Verify, “The Legal Workforce Act” is just tipping the scales and only needs a little more momentum from American voters to get this bill into Congress. The potential law has 74 co-sponsors and needs a final push of only 26 more lawmakers with a backbone; four of the co-sponsors are Democrats.
Join the TEA PARTY, as the refugees from every other delusional political voter and vote a Tea Party senate and house into office, displacing all those politicians and elected officers who protect illegal migrants and immigrants and betrayed the lawful U.S. Populace.
