ICE Officer: Agents Forced To Look The Other Way On Immigration Violations

Following his testimony to the House Judiciary Committee earlier this week, ICE union president Chris Crane went on Sean Hannity’s FoxNews show last night and spoke in detail about how the Administration’s executive orders have prevented officers from enforcing immigration violations, creating a system in which even the 9/11 hijackers would not have been arrested. Towards the end of the interview Mr. Crane said the following:

I think [former ICE Assistant Secretary Julie Myers Wood]hit the nail on the head. And I hope everyone out there is listening very carefully to this… when a former ICE Director goes before Congress and makes a statement like this, that ICE and DHS are not enforcing the law to the point that if tomorrow we came in contact with or apprehended the 9/11 hijackers—these terrorists—that they would be released. I mean, I think that’s a pretty damning statement about what this administration is doing in regard to immigration enforcement.
