Tomorrow in Indiana, the Public Education Committee in the House will consider two higher education bills that will determine if illegal aliens can receive in-state tuition rates (SB 207) while veterans must prove legal residency before applying (SB 177).
SB 207 grants in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens currently enrolled in Indiana colleges and universities. The bill has passed in the Senate and has been sent to the House for consideration and has been assigned to the House Education Committee.
SB 177 is a bill that would require U.S. armed forces veterans to prove their legal residency in the state of Indiana before they can apply for college in-state tuition rates! This bill is also before the House Education Committee and places higher standards on our veterans than those who are here illegally in the United States!
We are asking that all Indiana taxpayers and concerned citizens call and email their elected officials, especially those on the House Education Committee, and voice your opposition to these bills. And your presence and testimony against this bill would be most valuable!
The Federal Government recently announced that they are discontinuing college assistance funds for our loyal veterans…and now Indiana is going out of its way to provide financial assistance to illegal aliens!

Your concern and voice is needed to protect the interests of Indiana citizen students and our veterans.

THAT MAKES NO SENSE!! get all the facts……………………………………these people still have to prove like the Vets residency…..that is to stay in the State for at least 1 year…………..what a way our media has become………..all AIR!!! no substance!!
This is so appalling!! There seems to be a secret powerful force wanting America to become Latino and for Mexicans to get preferential treatment while destroying our great country built upon foundations like English.
Press 1 for English Press 2 for Spanish
You can’t get a US Border Patrol job unless you speak Spanish. That is a slap in unemployed Americans’ face.
John……….it has been like this for 15 years + or so……………….the rule is as follows.:
1.- You will never get federal AID unless you prove you are a permanent resident/refugee/parolee/citizen
2. – In order to be a resident of the state, you have to be at least a resident for
a year to have your tuition lower/
3. – All foreigners pay premium no matter what ( twice the rate of a resident alien /citizen)
4. – illegals as per 2
THIS IS THE CORRECT FEEDBACK
