Democratic Congressmen, Protesters Arrested At Capitol

Amnesty Lobby Holds Rally on Closed National Mall

“Several thousand AFL-CIO and SEIU sponsored pro-amnesty demonstrators began rallying on Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon around 12:30 PM to call for Congress to grant legal status to America’s at least 11 million illegal immigrants,” Breitbart reported.

“The event on the National Mall, which is supposed to be closed because of the ongoing government shutdown but to which the Obama administration granted exception for today’s rally, is heavily funded by organizations like the labor unions and amnesty special interest lobbyists sponsoring it. At least four jumbotrons and an elaborate setup of port-a-potties, special event fencing, tents, and raised and lighted stages are set up across the National Mall.”

Democratic Congressmen, Protesters Arrested At Capitol

“Democratic Reps. Charles Rangel, Luis Gutierrez, Keith Ellison, Joseph Crowley, Al Green, and John Lewis, along with several other pro-amnesty activists, union members, and other left-wing protesters, got themselves arrested on purpose on Tuesday afternoon in a statement made in support of comprehensive immigration reform. Only a few hundred demonstrators participated in the part of the rally that led to the arrests, while several thousand rallied on the National Mall earlier in the day,” said Breitbart News.

California Laws Expected to Cause Chaos

“One might recall that when Arizona carved out an independent approach a few years ago, empowering local police, in effect, to enforce federal immigration laws, the state was widely criticized. Immigration is a federal issue, it was said, and Arizona was wrong to substitute its enforcement judgment for that of federal officials. Now California is doing the same thing in reverse, and may be creating untenable conflicts,” says Dan Walters in the Sacramento Bee.

“Another new law prohibits a local law enforcement agency from detaining someone who is under a hold request by federal immigration officials unless that detainee is suspected or convicted of a major crime.”

    Its All Changed Now

As open border pundits invent MASS changes to our immigration laws as they go along. Arresting a government employee should lead to that Representative being impeached for losing their security clearances; assuming there’s a conviction.

Those Dems that attended that illegal alien rally on the mall, should be incarcerated for life!

So the WW2 vets get met with a locked gate at the WW2 memorial, when it was known they were coming. But illegal aliens are given an exception to hold a rally because of some bogus claim of free speech. It’s obvious where the sympathies of this government lie. Apparently there is no limit to the pandering of this administration. There are plenty of vacations and plans by American citizens that were thwarted, but you see who gets priority.

As for those getting themselves arrested, so what. It’s just another meaningless show. I don’t know why blacks even let the phrase “civil rights” be applied to this phony claim of victimhood by illegals born in other countries, when blacks fought for rights that were denied to generations of American born citizens.
