The Winnable Battle Republican Leaders Refuse to Wage on Immigration

homepage_opedLast week, the Republican congressional leadership announced that they would drop their effort to defund President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty programs in the FY 2016 budget. In an op-ed published on Townhall.com, I explain why this decision represents an abdication of Congress’s constitutional responsibilities and a squandered opportunity to force the president and his allies in Congress to defend an unpopular move.

The complete op-ed can be read here.

I am looking forward to Ann Coulters book “Adios America!” Immigration is the most important issue in America.
Are we to become another third world nation with 500 million or a billion people, or are we going to manage immigration to sustainable levels. If we don’t get this right America is over. Unfortunetly, policticians are pandering to special interest groups and not sovling the problem.

This strategy has encouraged the thief in charge, the immoral bastard to do exactly what he wants…. with NO ONE PROTECTING WE THE PEOPLE!!!! The bravery of our fathers and grandfathers…. swirling down the toilet thanks to boehner and his co-horts who speak the language but are unable to carry out the work necessary to get the job done!!!! President Truman vetoed the Taft-Hartley bill as he felt it was unfair to labor. The veto was over-written in Congress at which time Truman said he needed to fullfill his “Constitutional Oath” to enforce the laws passed buy Congress and did.

Fast forward to the Obama administration. Not only has the President publically refused to enforce laws passed by Congress, he has notified Federal agencies that employees who violate his unconstitutional decree will dealt with. Unfortunately, the cowards in Congress are hoping the Supreme Court will save their bacon and avoid their responsibility of having to take a stand on anything.

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were a real opposition party in congress? We have now a single party with 2 wings: Treason and Treason Lite.

Emperor President Obama handed down his unlawful EXECUTIVE AMNESTY DECREE on 11/20/14. This unilateral executive action gave social security numbers, work permits, and lucrative income tax child credits to 5 million illegal immigrants. Now going further to the lawless side of politics is would be Empress Hillary Clinton. Mrs. Clinton promised in Las Vegas a few days ago that if elected President in 2016, and should Congress fail to pass a COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM law, she would issue what amounts to provisional EXECUTIVE CITIZENSHIP order for unauthorized aliens. The executive action on amnesty handed down by President Obama and the promises being made by Hillary Clinton on ‘immigration reform’ means says this about what our top political leaders believe: The rule of law in America is dead. Laws passed by Congress don’t mean a damn thing. We don’t need no stinkin Congress to change or rewrite our immigration laws or any other laws for that matter….just a phone and a pen.

The message last fall by Republicans was vote for us and we will reverse his amnesty. That was how they put it, cut and dry, no equivocation. So basically they have let this president and the Democrats off the hook. But then, that’s because the Republican leadership is bought and paid for by wealthy donors like the Koch brothers who want wide open immigration for cheap wages, legal or illegal. So the GOP will lie to the voters and cross their fingers behind their backs while doing it. .

Just to add, the Koch brothers and Grover Norquist are supporting the wide open immigration that will spell the end of the present Republican party and the low tax small government they claim they want. Because inevitably those immigrants will be granted citizenship and will vote mostly Democratic, even at the higher income levels. Stupid is as stupid does.
