Keep Criminal Aliens out of North Carolina: Support HB 100!

Yesterday, the North Carolina Senate passed a critical measure to combat illegal immigration and withhold state funds from localities that violate state law by instituting sanctuary policies! House Bill 100 (HB 100) adds teeth to 2015’s HB 318, which in addition to prohibiting sanctuary policies, amped up the state’s E-Verify requirements and prohibited state and local officials from accepting consular ID cards as proof of identification or residency. We need your help to make sure all of your hard work in passing HB 318 is not wasted and ensure uniform enforcement of immigration law in North Carolina. The best way to do that is for the legislature to pass HB 100 to ensure there are consequences for breaking North Carolina’s immigration enforcement measures!

HB 100 must now be voted on by the full House of Representatives, which wraps up its session at the end of this month. Call your Representatives today and tell them to support HB 100! .

Tell these elected officials that uniform enforcement of immigration law is smart public policy. The benefits of legislation aimed at increasing cooperation with federal immigration officials include:

  • Furthering the public safety and welfare of North Carolina residents and visitors;
  • Fighting illegal immigration by eliminating the attraction for illegal aliens to come to North Carolina;
  • Taking away competition for scarce jobs; and
  • Providing ICE with critical assistance to accomplish its mission to identify and remove criminal aliens who are already in state or local custody.

Call your Representatives today and remind them that North Carolina voters support the Rule of Law. Too many lives have already been lost due to dangerous sanctuary policies.

    We do not need Santuary Cities in North Carolina !! I thought NC was a Safe place to live.when I moved here in 1977.We have enough of our own Criminals without allowing Aliens because some of those will be Illegal !! That is not Right and Should be Against the Law.
