Ever wonder why going to university nowadays can leave parents broke, or kids with a mountain of debt? If you or your kid is planning to attend Rice University in Houston, be prepared to pony up $46,600 for tuition. If your kid needs to eat and prefers to sleep indoors, your total tab for the year will be $61,350.
But you can rest assured that your life’s savings will be put to good use by Rice University, funding such important research as the forthcoming report, “Kicks Hurt Less: Discrimination Predicts Distress Beyond Trauma Among Undocumented Mexican Immigrants.” Sorry, no hyperlink is available, so if you just can’t wait to read the report you’ll have to pick up the latest edition of the American Psychological Association’s journal Psychology of Violence.
Spoiler alert: This Rice University research report found that “69 percent of undocumented Mexicans living in high-risk neighborhoods near the California-Mexico border reported interpersonal discrimination due to being undocumented.” Full disclosure: I didn’t read the report myself – I got that information from the press release.
Not to make light of people’s emotional distress – but most assuredly to make light of Rice University’s absurd and expensive waste of resources – the report comes to the startling conclusion that people who violate U.S. immigration laws feel stigmatized for breaking our laws.
I can hardly wait for Rice University’s next groundbreaking research report, “Speeders Feel Discriminated Against for Driving Too Fast.”

Being an Illegal alien means you should be TERRIFIED. You’re a criminal. You should be locked up and kept in a barred cage until removed from the US.

I would seem that those public officials whom set this type of immigration policy want you to feel like they care about your opinion, they don’t. We shall see how well this strategy works for them come next election cycle.

If feeling discriminated against because they are immigrants is a problem with them, they can always go somewhere where they are not immigrants.
The Pope says that immigrants, legal or illegal, are an “enrichment to society, not threats.” Tell that to Sweden which is now dealing with the negative effects of all the refugees that they welcomed into their country. Huge welfare costs, no go zones where police only enter in groups, assaults on women, the list goes on and on. Of course the media will never tell you that, and the failure to report something is the same as lying. In fact, when Trump made remarks awhile ago about “what happened in Sweden”, the media did it’s usual “There goes Trump again” routine, never addressing the substance of what he was talking about.
The Pope also claims that poverty is caused by “selfishness and injustice”. So says the leader of the organization that tells poor uneducated people that they will be damned for using birth control Then they insist that the West must deal with those who cannot care for the large families the church urged them to have. The real reason they want Latin Americans coming here is that they need more people to replace those who have tired of their hypocrisy and left.
For those who have not heard of Tommy Robinson, he is a British citizen who is in jail, in spite of all the official talk of how he broke the law, for the simple reason that he refuses to stop talking about how the government has ignored the thousands of cases of Asian-origin men in Britain who have been assaulting young girls for decades. London has had hundreds of stabbing and acid attacks and yet the police spend half their time investigating “hate crimes”, most of which involve nothing more than expressing a politically incorrect opinion.
If they don’t like it then don’t come over her illegally. Americans are tired of the financial burden and crimes they commit . I can’t believe this study was even done . Stop giving these folks a welcome mat and enforce the laws
