Twitter Celebrities Choose Migrants over Security

As a caravan of more than 5,000 migrants makes its way to the United States, President Trump continues to warn that he will preserve American sovereignty and the migrants will be turned away. However, virtue-signaling Twitter celebrities have decided to align themselves with the potential illegal aliens over the rule of law and national security.

Instead of acknowledging that these migrants brazenly intend to violate American sovereignty, the open-borders lobby of the Twitter-sphere portrayed them as aggrieved parties who are legally and morally entitled to enter the United States, just because they’re unhappy with the standard of living in their own countries. Leading the charge was Stephen King, who called the migrants “a bunch of scared and hungry people.” While there may be some truth to that statement, being scared and hungry has never been a basis for entering another country without authorization.

Besides, if King’s assertions were true, why didn’t the caravan stop in Mexico? The Mexican government has extended a standing offer to seek asylum there, but most Caravan members refused. “We want to get to the United States,” said one migrant. “If they stop us now, we’ll just come back a second time.”

So, this isn’t really about “scared, hungry people” seeking refuge. It’s about people who believe that, instead of taking control of their political destiny, they are entitled to enter the United States whether Americans want them or not. Unfortunately, what King and other Twitter personalities don’t seem to understand is that isn’t how things work in a constitutional republic, where the government and the people are one in the same.

The U.S. has an undeniable right to determine which foreign nationals may enter its territory and under what circumstances they may do so. And control of our borders is essential to our survival as a nation. While the vast majority of the migrants are likely just in search of better economic opportunities, such a large caravan could easily contain hidden criminals and terrorists.

Despite the actions of keyboard warriors such as King who ignore these risks, there is hope that not all celebrities have lost their minds. While they may be in the minority, some famous Twitter personalities still understand the importance of secure borders and an orderly immigration process. News and reality TV star Piers Morgan and Dilbert creator Scott Adams are good examples. In fact, Morgan has publicly stated that he believes the caravan will only help facilitate the president’s immigration agenda. “It’s hard to think of a more powerful image to vindicate Trump’s much criticized demand for a new ‘Wall’, isn’t it?”

The legal American Citizen Latinos, should be mad as hell about this movement for undoing all the years of hard work spent on acquiring their rightful place and respect among society. Many now at retirement age having pair off their mortgages, raised their children, paid their taxes and earned the right to retire in peace are now faced with a younger generation of illegal relatives that want to move in and take over their lives. I’ve witnessed many situations in my own neighborhood where retired or near retirement couples with Children grown or older teens, suddenly expand from a family of 3-4 to persons to a family of 10 or more young Adults . Their willingness to help Family members has brought unrest , added expenses, code violations, and illegal activity into their homes . Numerous vehicles parked on or around their property. Some bringing their smaller children and pets causing Grandmothers to assist in more child raising while their parents are working or running about all day and night. One elderly widowed Man I know of rented a room out to a nephew that stopped working a month after moving in and began selling drugs instead. When the Man tried to evict him for not paying rent after that first month, the Nephew refused to leave and cost the Man hundreds of dollars in legal fees to have him removed. It took nearly 5 months. During that time the man was confronted by other family members that accused him of being a snob and turning against Family. Another family in my neighborhood that used to be quiet, normal law abiding citizens are now wrapped up in the middle of a Blood sport for profit Animal Abuse crime ring. We have all had property value decreases because of the newly developed crime and violence. Home and auto insurance increases as well.

There is nothing more laughable than seeing a “news” headline like “Joe Celeb calls out Trump on Twitter”. Who gives a flying leap what they say. Other than the clueless idiots and flatline thinkers who follow their gibberish. They’re entitled to an opinion, left or right, but it’s worth no more, and frequently a lot less, than the average person.

All these phonies carry on about Trump and Republicans being anti-Semites while they and the rest of the media ignore the close connections between many members of the Congressional Black Caucus and Louis Farrakhan, a bigot if there ever was one. Does Stephen King realize how many scared and hungry people there are in this world. Do they ALL get to come here? That should be the question they are required to answer.

Trump has probably been told that he cannot change birthright citizenship with an executive order. But he is getting attention to the issue if he does issue one. Words are not just inserted into Supreme Court decisions for no reason. And in the Wong Kim Ark case of 1898, they relied in their final summation on the fact that his parents at the time of his birth had a “permanent domicil and presence in the United States”. So HE was a citizen because they were here legally and known to the authorities and had been for a long time.

How could that possibly compare to giving citizenship to children born to those who are here without permission and using fake or stolen SS numbers to work. If dad robs a bank and give $10,000 to his kids, are they entitled to keep it? No, he goes to jail and they give it back because they or anyone else cannot profit from a crime. Same concept.

Yet the very wealthy Stephen King who could choose to live wherever he wants yet he chooses to live in the whitopia of Maine far from our southern border with Mexico. Why not move to say Tucson, Arizona and use his wealth to build a giant mansion where he could live with and help many of the “scared, hungry people” that he is so concerned about. Or he could move to Central America and do the same.

No, once again Americans who support border security have to endure lectures from limousine liberal hypocrites who use their wealth to insulate themselves from the negative consequences of the policies they would like to foist on Americans. Just because a person is good at writing popular novels or at producing other forms of popular entertainments doesn’t mean a lot of Americans, myself included, want to hear what they think about politics.

But there is nothing new about that in America 2018.

You right on, all these Hollywood nerds live behind wall and have body guards, even Obama but they want the rest of us to put up with the problems this will bring. Open your homes to them, sponsor then, give them jobs. We aren’t agains immigrants we’re just agains illegal ones who come in and get everything free. Our kids don’t get anything free. Just look at Obamacare, it’s killing our young people. As for King he’s been in the woods to long and living inside a defiant head. Worthless.
