Biden Scrubs Six Criminal Aliens from ICE’s ‘Most Wanted’ List

President Joe Biden has yet to rein in his destructive policies shielding illegal aliens from arrest and deportation. A recent move by his administration went a step further by scrubbing information from a public database highlighting some of the worst criminal aliens still at large, and thus keeping the American people from knowing their crimes and helping law enforcement identify their whereabouts.

According to Jon Feere of the Center for Immigration Studies, the Biden administration removed six criminal aliens from Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) “Most Wanted” list. The half-dozen illegal aliens are at-large offenders whose victims’ families had reached out to ICE for assistance. The six fugitives are wanted for the following:

  • Saul Chavez: charged with vehicular homicide in Cook County, Illinois
  • Gonzalo Harrell-Gonzalez: charged with vehicular homicide in Gilmer County, Georgia
  • Jesus Maltos-Chacon: charged with homicide and vehicular manslaughter in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
  • Edwin Meija: charged with vehicular homicide in Omaha, Nebraska
  • Alan Jacob Mogollon-Anaya: charged with vehicular homicide in Washington County, Tennessee
  • Luis Alberto Rodriguez-Castro: charged with homicide and vehicular manslaughter in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina

These suspects disappeared from ICE’s “Most Wanted” list without a press release or public notices justifying their removal. So, the question must be asked: why is the Biden administration concealing the identities of criminal foreign nationals who pose a very real threat to the general public and should be removed from the country?

With all of these suspects holding severe homicide-related charges, including driving while intoxicated during the commission of their offense, the public should have the right to know that these dangerous individuals could be roaming their neighborhoods. Burying information about these assailants decreases the likelihood of their capture, which could lead to another opportunity for them to commit additional avoidable offenses.

This decision follows the administration’s ending of the Victims of Immigration Crime Engagement Office (VOICE) program, which was created by the Trump administration to provide aid to victims of illegal alien crimes. Instead, President Biden’s administration has replaced VOICE with the Victim Engagement and Services Line. This program aims to expand support services to illegal aliens who allege to be crime victims.

Once again, President Biden is prioritizing migrants who disregarded our immigration laws over American citizens – even those who have committed egregious offenses. This administration’s policies of not removing immigration law violators and shielding their crimes cast aside victims of illegal alien crime and their families.
