How STEM Mythology Shortchanges American Workers

A new Howard University study shows, once again, that the H-1B “skilled” visa program is based on industry-promoted myths that work against Americans. Examining workforce statistics in the STEM field, professor Ron Hira concluded there are “no widespread or lasting labor shortages” in this highly profitable sector of the U.S. economy.
