In California, renting or buying a home has been notoriously unaffordable for decades even as the state continues to pave over what remains of its natural spaces for more roads and subdivisions. The Golden State’s legislature is committed to sustainability, but actively supporting more legal and illegal immigration is an indefensible decision that puts the ecosystem at risk.
