The bipartisan Syria Terrorism Threat Assessment Act (H.R. 1327) would identify and monitor potential terrorist actors in Syria, before they even have a chance to travel to and set foot on U.S. soil. This is important legislation given the volatile situation in Syria and the large-scale presence of Islamist fighters in the country.
