Despite overwhelming opposition from the American people, the President began his second term by teaming up with the Senate Gang of Eight to try to ram through a mass amnesty guest worker bill. Ultimately, true immigration reformers prevailed and the bill never became law.<\/p>\n<p>However, in the absence of \u201ccomprehensive immigration reform,\u201d President Obama has taken steps unilaterally throughout his time in office to undermine immigration enforcement and ultimately grant de facto amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. The Obama administration\u2019s strategy is predicated on the fact that the public and the media will not take notice of each individual and incremental step they are taking. To combat this, FAIR\u2019s Government Relations Department has produced a report exposing this strategy and the policy objective behind it.
