In what promises to be the biggest immigration enforcement operation of the Trump presidency, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents aim to detain and deport more than 1,500 illegal aliens in California.<\/p>\n
ICE officers will be flown into the newly declared \u201csanctuary state\u201d to crack down on illegally employed migrants, sources say<\/a>.<\/p>\n Operational details are being kept under wraps, understandably, but acting ICE Director Thomas Homan urged Californians to \u201chold on tight.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n \u201c(If state lawmakers) don\u2019t want to protect their communities, then ICE will,\u201d Homan vowed.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong>California lawmakers<\/a> didn\u2019t take Homan\u2019s warning well.
