href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/biden-border-wall-construction-stop-elected\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\"> promised<\/a> the nation that while he will not tear down any of the existing border wall now in place, he will not build one more foot of border wall and instead focus enforcement efforts on high-tech security and ports of entry. \u201cI\u2019m going to make sure that we have border protection, but it\u2019s going to be based on making sure that we use high-tech capacity to deal with it.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>His 180-degree turn on the need for a border barrier \u2013 which he and other notable Democrats including Senators Obama, Clinton and Schumer supported during the debate on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2019\/05\/10\/politics\/kfile-biden-drugs-fence-2006\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">2007 Secure Fence Act <\/a>\u00a0\u2013 demonstrates just how far left he\u2019s been pushed by the far left wing of the Democratic party.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This isn\u2019t the first time Biden\u2019s outlined his vision for changes in the way the nation approaches immigration.\u00a0 Outlined in his \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20200708231300\/https:\/joebiden.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/UNITY-TASK-FORCE-RECOMMENDATIONS.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Unity Plan<\/a>,\u201d which he authored along with Senator Bernie Sanders, Biden also promises:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Amnesty for the roughly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fairus.org\/issues\/illegal-immigration\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">14.3<\/a> million illegal aliens currently residing in the U.S. \u2013 by far the largest illegal alien amnesty in U.S. history, dwarfing the controversial 1986 amnesty by a magnitude of three. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Eliminates all Trump administration executive\nactions on immigration enforcement, including the bi-lateral agreements with\nNorthern Triangle countries that helped stanch the flow of illegal immigrant\ncaravans into the U.S.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ends the administration\u2019s travel restrictions\nwhich have been used to safeguard the nation from terrorists as well as protect\nour citizens from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>End all illegal and criminal alien removals for at\nleast 100 days.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Eliminates all private illegal alien detention\nfacilities without promised construction of new federal facilities, greatly\nlimiting the nation\u2019s ability to detain potentially dangerous illegal and\ncriminal aliens.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Ends workplace raids while ensuring that workplace\nenforcement efforts \u201cdo not undermine [illegal alien]workers\u2019 rights to\norganize and assert their rights.\u201d<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The three upcoming
