The president is too busy <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/05\/biden-too-busy-with-historic-crises-for-press-conference-psaki\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">dealing with \u201chistoric crises,\u201d<\/a> to answer questions from reporters, explained Press Secretary Jen Psaki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Tuesday, the president managed to find the time for <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/03\/09\/press-corps-ushered-away-after-asking-biden-questions-again\/\" target=\"_blank\">a photo-op<\/a> at a D.C. hardware store that has benefited from his temporary extension of the Paycheck Protection Program, with the White House press corps dutifully in tow. But even as he smiled for the cameras at W.S. Jenks &amp; Sons hardware store, the president was still too busy to answer reporters\u2019 questions about the historic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kxan.com\/news\/gov-greg-abbott-visits-the-rio-grande-valley-to-speak-with-officials-discuss-immigration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">border crisis he found time to create<\/a> in his first seven weeks in office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apparently, even after being assured last week by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that the massive numbers of migrants pouring across the border, an unprecedented number of whom are unaccompanied children, is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2021\/03\/01\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-jen-psaki-and-secretary-of-homeland-security-alejandro-mayorkas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">a mere \u201cchallenge,\u201d<\/a> reporters still want to hear from the president himself.
