The claim: Border Patrol agents on horseback were using whips on Haitian migrants fleeing for their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only problem? None of this is true. Border Patrol agents do not carry whips, nor were they whipping Haitian migrants. What many thought were whips were actually long reins, a common tool used to control horses. This should have been blatantly obvious to anybody who watched the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/BillFOXLA\/status\/1441061733037133825\" target=\"_blank\">full video<\/a>. Even the photographer behind the initial image came forward and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ktsm.com\/local\/el-paso-news\/photographer-behind-controversial-photos-speaks-exclusively-to-ktsm\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">acknowledged<\/a> the photo was misleading, and he never witnessed any of the migrants being whipped. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, this didn\u2019t stop leftists from pushing blatant misinformation. Whether it was Congresswoman Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) and MSNBC host Joy Reid comparing agents to slave masters or Congresswoman Illhan Omar (D-Minn.) calling Border Patrol racist, the narrative was set. Even Vice President Kamala Harris, our so-called \u201cborder czar,\u201d condemned these law enforcement officers while also comparing their actions to slavery. To add insult to injury, President Biden proclaimed that \u201cthose people [Border Patrol agents] will pay\u2026there will be consequences.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-twitter wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cWhat we witnessed was worse than what we witnessed in slavery.\u201d California Democratic Rep. They did not appear to strike anyone.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The rest of the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mYquf3UZrxE\" target=\"_blank\">mainstream media<\/a> hasn\u2019t seemed to catch on as they continue peddling this outright lie at the expense of border agents who were effectively and honorably doing their jobs under extreme circumstances. This certainly isn\u2019t the first time mainstream news networks have <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/reason.com\/2020\/01\/21\/covington-catholic-media-nick-sandmann-lincoln-memorial\/\" target=\"_blank\">jumped to conclusions<\/a> before getting all of the facts. Interestingly enough, Big Tech has yet to censor a single social media post pushing this false narrative or affix their now infamous \u201cfact-checked label,\u201d as they have done countless times to Republicans. Additionally, the falsely accused agents have been put on desk duty pending an investigation that may lead to their termination. Again, this is all because the agents were doing their jobs preventing illegal migration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our country is now facing a humanitarian crisis that has led to as many as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2021\/09\/24\/1040446618\/biden-border-agents-horses-haiti-migrants-dangerous-wrong\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">15,000 Haitian migrants<\/a> flooding our borders, with most of those being released into the country.
