This customer survey validates the success of our efforts&#8230;.&#8221; said USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas. In fact, Obama&#8217;s refusal to require employers to use the program has forced states to enact their own E-Verify legislation. Thus far, 20 states have laws on the books requiring certain employers to use the system.
