Two of those hearings will be broadcast live on the internet:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>House Oversight Hearing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairus.org\/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=159539\">Immigration Enforcement<\/a>, Homeland Security<\/li>\n<li>House Hearing on\u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairus.org\/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=159542\">Examining the Role of Lower-Skilled Guest Worker Programs in Today&#8217;s Economy<\/a>&#8221; with the\u00a0Subcommittee on Workforce Protections, Education &amp; Workforce Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Regular Immigration Reform readers should note that <strong>John Morton, the Director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, will testify at the House Oversight Hearing today, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ustream.tv\/channel\/hclive17\">which you can watch online starting at 10 a.m. EST<\/a>. <\/strong>Morton is the author of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairus.org\/Default.aspx?PageID=12563600&amp;A=SearchResult&amp;SearchID=3840135&amp;ObjectID=12563600&amp;ObjectType=1\">a series of memos<\/a>, written at the request of the Department of Homeland Security, to relax the enforcement of U.S. immigration laws.<\/p>\n<p>It also happens to be National Sunshine Week. Named in honor of Justice Brandeis, this week is dedicated to encouraging American citizens to be engaged in their government at all levels.
