{"id":3131,"date":"2013-04-16T16:26:42","date_gmt":"2013-04-16T20:26:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/live-immigrationreform.pantheonsite.io\/?p=3131"},"modified":"2018-12-28T16:10:21","modified_gmt":"2018-12-28T21:10:21","slug":"leahy-reschedules-senate-judiciary-hearing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/2013\/04\/16\/leahy-reschedules-senate-judiciary-hearing\/","title":{"rendered":"Leahy Reschedules Senate Judiciary Hearing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After calls for additional time to review the expected Gang of Eight legislation, Senator Patrick Leahy postponed the hearing that was scheduled for Wednesday with a new date and time of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fairus.org\/BookingRetrieve.aspx?ID=163484\">Friday morning at 10 a.m.<\/a> <em>Fox News<\/em> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2013\/04\/15\/senate-dems-allow-extra-hearing-on-immigration-bill-in-bid-to-ease-opposition\/?test=latestnews#ixzz2QeveVnjb\">reported:<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The bipartisan &#8220;Gang of Eight&#8221; &#8212; which for months has been working on the bill &#8212; planned to unveil the legislation Tuesday, but has delayed the roll-out due to the Boston bombing tragedy. Members of that group, including Republican Sen.
