Albert Allen Bartlett, professor emeritus of physics at the University of Colorado Boulder and long-time friend of FAIR, died at the age of 90 on September 7, 2013. The Chancellor of UCB noted in tribute, \u201cHis timeless, internationally revered lecture on the impacts of world population growth will live beyond his passing, a distinction few professors can claim.\u201d Joe Bish, of the Population Media Center, noted that Professor Bartlett \u201cwas an unwavering rock in the field of population education and advocacy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Those of us at FAIR who knew Al Bartlett valued highly his unfailing efforts to instill a public sense of numeracy in considering the issue of population growth and its impact for future generations.<\/p>\n
