However, they weren&#8217;t the first members to leave. In June, Rep. Raul Labrador (R-ID) left the &#8220;Gang&#8221; due to concerns about taxpayers being forced to pay for illegal aliens&#8217; health care.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We know that without activists like you, these members never would have felt pressure to leave the pro-amnesty working group.\u00a0<\/strong>Your phone calls, emails and participation at local events and town halls made a difference!<\/p>\n<p>While they dropped out of the House Gang of Seven, Carter and Johnson\u00a0<span style=\"color: #810909;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/samjohnson.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=350602\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/samjohnson.house.gov\/news\/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=350602\">still support granting amnesty to\u00a0 the estimated 12 million illegal aliens living in the U.S. and passing a massive guest worker program<\/a><\/strong><\/span><strong>.\u00a0<\/strong>They blamed their distrust of the Obama Administration&#8217;s willingness to faithfully execute any new immigration laws as the reason for leaving.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.capwiz.com\/fair\/issues\/alert\/?alertid=62943416&amp;type=TA\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/www.capwiz.com\/fair\/issues\/alert\/?alertid=62943416&amp;type=TA\"><span><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Will you take a few minutes and email your U.S. Representative today?<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #810909;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/a>Your voice is needed to remind them:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1)\u00a0<\/strong><strong>No compromises with the Senate bill; and<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2) Americans need jobs not a mass amnesty or guest worker programs!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Unfortunately, this fight is far from over.<\/strong>\u00a0The &#8220;House Gang&#8221; may have collapsed but there are many members of Congress who are still pushing for amnesty and more guest workers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Last Thursday, Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) announced that immigration was on the House GOP Leadership&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/news\/world\/us\/former-republican-vp-candidate-says-immigration-reform-can-be-passed-1.1532283\">&#8220;to do list&#8221; this fall<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Over the weekend, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/house-republicans-say-theyll-act-on-immigration-reform-this-year\/2013\/09\/22\/e561ab92-2205-11e3-966c-9c4293c47ebe_story.html\">the\u00a0<em>Washington Post<\/em>\u00a0reported<\/a> <\/strong>that Rep.
