The Illegal Aliens Sing | ImmigrationReform.com\" src=\"http:\/\/live-immigrationreform.pantheonsite.io\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree.jpg\" width=\"230\" height=\"259\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree.jpg 1065w, https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree-89x100.jpg 89w, https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree-266x300.jpg 266w, https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree-768x865.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.immigrationreform.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/capitol_christmas_tree-909x1024.jpg 909w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 230px) 100vw, 230px\" \/><\/a>Speaker John Boehner\u2019s (R-Ohio) title was somewhat of a misnomer at this year\u2019s Capitol Christmas tree lighting.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/hoh.rollcall.com\/boehner-at-capitol-tree-lighting\/\">Illegal aliens rudely drowned out Boehner\u2019s voice<\/a> to disrupt an American holiday tradition on the west front of the Capitol.\u00a0 \u00a0Out of the shadows, these illegal aliens are seeking out the illumination of the bright Christmas lights.<\/p>\n<p>The pro-amnesty Fair Immigration Reform Movement (FIRM) told <a href=\"http:\/\/thehill.com\/blogs\/blog-briefing-room\/news\/191940-children-protest-boehners-inaction-on-immigration-at-christmas\">The Hill<\/a> newspaper that 50 \u201cchildren will protest silently\u201d at the lighting of the Capitol Christmas tree.\u00a0 Instead, Boehner was heckled by dozens of loudly singing illegal aliens.\u00a0 Protesters belted out a mockery of the carols by manipulating the refrains to inject their pro-amnesty agenda.\u00a0 (Watch video <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oqjKVssN2fk\">here<\/a>\u00a0or below.)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/oqjKVssN2fk\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The demonstration on the west lawn of the Capitol was not the only time the protesters have clamored for attention during the holidays.\u00a0 Protests also took place at the offices of Speaker Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), Rep. Buck McKeon (R-Calif.), Rep. Scott Tipton (R-Colo.) and Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.).\u00a0 \u00a0Their loud singing was so disruptive that staff in Boehner\u2019s, Cantor\u2019s, and McKeon\u2019s offices called Capitol Police.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/blogs\/politics\/2013\/12\/comprende-capitol-cop-berates-immigration-carolers\/\">Media coverage<\/a> has been unfairly critical of Capitol Police officers, who have been merely responding to these unlawful protests.\u00a0 In response to amnesty activists posting online a video of an officer responding to children protesting, the Capitol Police issued a statement saying, \u201cThe Department is reviewing the incident and wants to assure the public that the U.S. Capitol Police welcomes daily all people to visit and lawfully express their First Amendment rights.\u201d In the video, a Capitol Police officer outside Boehner\u2019s office appropriately told the loudly disruptive demonstrators, \u201cThis is a place of business.\u201d He was right to say that, because these activists don\u2019t seem to understand that.<\/p>\n<p>Ironically, amnesty protesters also held a \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/americasvoiceonline.org\/blog\/immigrant-farmworkers-labor-leaders-and-immigration-advocates-to-the-republican-house-do-your-jobs-on-immigration\/\">Do Your Jobs<\/a>\u201d campaign during the Thanksgiving holiday, asserting that Members of Congress weren\u2019t doing their jobs by not voting for amnesty.
