Securing the Northern Border Starts with Securing the Southern Border



While many policymakers are justifiably fixated on the crisis at the southern border, we must not forget the U.S. also has 5,500 mile border with Canada. It doesn’t pose the same threat as the open U.S.-Mexico border, where cartels have operational control, fentanyl pours in, and Border Patrol makes over 200,000 apprehensions a month, but we take our eye off the Northern Border at great peril.
