The House Homeland Security released its interim report on phase two of the ongoing investigation into Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Launched in June, the Committee’s investigation into Mayorkas is focusing on his dereliction of duty in five phases. The second phase examines how drug cartels have been empowered under Mayorkas, documenting the increase in cartel violence, drug trafficking, and human trafficking.
