IRLI Sues the Obama Administration for Records Related to its Unlawful Refugee Programs

gavelOn behalf of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) announced today that it has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia seeking records from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) about the Obama Administration’s unlawful and politicized refugee programs. (Federation for American Immigration Reform v. Department of Health and Human Services, Civil No.1:16-cv-01163). The records being sought span five separate requests, each of which have been stonewalled by the agency.

Under U.S. immigration law, only those who face persecution on account of “race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion” can be admitted into the country as a refugee. The refugee law does not cover those fleeing from “high-crime” regions of the world, such as Central America. The Obama Administration, however, has used this premise to establish the “so-called” In Country Refugee/Parole Program for Central American Minors (CAM) program, which uses taxpayer-dollars to actually fly-in Central American juveniles to be “reunited” with their mostly illegal alien-parents and potential legal guardians residing in the country. It’s believed over 100,000 have entered the U.S. through the program so far. Through its FOIA request and lawsuit, FAIR is building a case that clearly shows the Obama Administration’s violation of U.S. refugee law as well as executive parole authority, which it’s also misusing to facilitate the unlawful CAM program.

FAIR’s requests also cover communications between key officials within HHS’s Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and refugee advocacy groups and contractors (many of whom these officials previously worked for), communications between the White House and ORR regarding the Syrian refugee program, records relating to the agency’s monitoring of refugee resettlement-contractors (which is reportedly grossly insufficient), as well as certain cooperative agreements between the federal government and several refugee advocacy groups sponsored by open-borders globalist, George Soros. It is hoped much of the information (so far unlawfully withheld by HHS) will, for instance, assist state governments wishing to put a halt to the Administration’s plan to take in “refugees” whose mass influx will put further strain on their already burdened school, health care and welfare systems.

IRLI Executive Director, Dale L. Wilcox, commented, “The records we expect to obtain in response to our suit we hope will raise public awareness regarding Obama’s lawless, open-borders policies, and assist states across the nation who must bear the burden.” Wilcox continued, “It is average working Americans who are being affected by these programs and it is they who are naturally and rightly concerned for the social cohesion of their communities, for the fiscal strains on their states’ budgets, and for the sanctity of our immigration law.”

The complaint is attached here.

We Aren’t Teamed Together in this Country Anymore

Immigration lies and false bigot name calling against legal Americans has divided us….the open border pundits’ fault.

Amazing the number of people in this country and in our government who still refuse to acknowledge the reality of what most of the Muslim world is really like and how even though all Muslims do not carry out terrorist attacks, allowing immigration into this country from this part of the world increases the probability of terrorist attacks occurring. Islamic terrorists cannot carry out an attack here if they aren’t in the US in the first place.

Japan has allowed very few Muslims to immigrate to Japan, and they have not had any terrorist attacks carried out my Islamic terrorists because terrorists cannot carry out an attack in Japan if they aren’t in Japan in the first place. Many people in the US and in our government apparently are willing to continue to risk their own lives in order to continue to believe a false reality about the world we live in.

If current trends continue regarding immigration and open borders, and as the number of terrorist attacks inevitably increases over time, see Israel, and the number of Americans killed by terrorists, illegal aliens, etc. continues to increase, even though I live in a country with a lot of really stupid people I can take solace in the fact that the odds are that I won’t be one of the next Americans to die as a result of our nation’s current idiotic open borders immigration policy.

The president said the other day why is it so important that he use the words “radical Islamic terrorism”. The real question is why has he avoided using the term for so many years. He and Hillary constantly say Islam is a religion of peace. But that is simply giving an out to Islamic leaders who insist there is no problem within the religion when there is. Look across the globe and a huge percentage of the violence is caused by Muslims. Saying they don’t represent the “real” Islam is a cop out.

We always hear that these attacks are by “lone wolves”. Obviously the Orlando shooter’s wife knew exactly what he planned to do. The Boston bombers had three friends convicted of hiding evidence after the fact. The Paris attacker from Belgium was not found for months because the Belgian police said he had a lot of support in his neighborhood. Peaceful does not describe adherents of a religion where polls have shown in many countries substantial majorities believe you must die if you are born Muslim but leave the religion. That is a barbaric attitude and those in this country who refuse to address the issue honestly are part of the problem.

Pat Buchanan has a recent article where he reveals how Saudi Arabia and other countries have laws on the books that homosexuality is punishable by death by beheading. A friend of my family was in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on a business trip and was walking down the street when all of a sudden the police started rounding everyone up and they forced people down the street to the infamous “Chop Chop Square” where they were all forced to watch a public beheading. However I don’t know what crime had allegedly been committed in this circumstance. People can continue to believe whatever fantasies they want to about the Muslim world, but it won’t change reality as excerpts from the following article show.

        From the International Business Times:

Execution Central: Saudi Arabia’s Bloody Chop-Chop Square
By Umberto Bacchi April 3, 2013

In accordance with a strict interpretation of Islamic law, Saudi’s courts implement a series of corporal punishments, of which flogging is the softest.

Right hand amputation applies in cases of theft, whereas cross amputation – right hand and left foot – is prescribed for highway robbery.

“I use a special sharp knife, not a sword. When I cut off a hand I cut it from the joint. If it is a leg the authorities specify where it is to be taken off, so I follow that,” Saudi Arabia’s leading executioner Muhammad Saad al-Beshi once told Arab News in a rare interview.

Eye-gouging and tooth extraction are known to have been imposed on offenders sentenced in accordance with the concept of Qisas, or retribution.

Corporal punishments as well as capital executions – by beheading – are carried out in public or in prison, depending on the court ruling.

In the capital Riyadh, public executions take place in the central Deera square, usually at 9am. The wide ochre square has been grimly dubbed “chop chop square” has seen dozens of condemned men and women put to death in recent years.

“When they [death row prisoners] get to the execution square, their strength drains away. Then I read the execution order, and at a signal I cut the prisoner’s head off,” al-Beshi said.

According to Human Rights Watch, from January to September 2012, at least 69 people were executed in Saudi Arabia. Another 10 beheadings have been reported in just the first six weeks of 2013.

Beheadings are imposed mainly for murder or drug offences, but cases of apostasy (renunciation of one’s faith), sorcery and witchcraft can also end up in Chop Chop square. Indeed a man named Muri’ al-‘Asiri was executed last year in the southern town of Najran, as punishment for being a sorcerer.

Lashing is carried out as the main or additional punishment for a wide range of offences, and can be imposed on men, women and juveniles. In 2011 a 13-year-old school girl convicted of assaulting a teacher was sentenced to 90 lashes, carried out in front of her classmates.

In 2009 Adam St Patrick wrote this account of witinessing a beheading at Deera Square, for The Walrus:

“At 9 a.m., the executioner gently lowers the blade to jab at the condemned’s neck, which jerks the prisoner’s body to attention. Then the real blow: the blade is drawn high up, then swung back down. It cleaves skin, muscle, and bone with a hollow, echoing thud. A lurid crimson waterfall chases the head to the granite with the sound of a wet rag being wrung out over a stainless steel sink. The body sways forward, snaps up, and slumps off to the right.

A loudspeaker lists the decapitated man’s crimes: rape, drug trafficking, and possession. The executioner sheathes his sword. A thickly bearded soldier claps his hands and wipes them against each other in the air—that’s it. By 9:05, the only other person in Chop Chop Square is a janitor, hosing down the granite.”

In the year 2016 people are being executed for “being a sorcerer”. And we think we can deal with this people on an equal basis. They’re living in the dark ages.

ABCNews.com carried a story on Nov. 20 2013 about the settlement of Iraqi refugees here. It centered around:

“The discovery of two Al Qaeda-Iraq terrorists living as refugees in Bowling Green Kentucky.” “As a result of the Kentucky case, the State Dept stopped processing Iraqi refugees FOR SIX MONTHS IN 2011.” “In 2011, fewer than 10,000 Iraqis were resettled as refugees in the US, half the number from the year before.”

Uh, is this not EXACTLY what Trump proposed from the very beginning? A temporary halt “until we find out what’s going on.” So where is the media on pointing out this hypocrisy? Trump gets slammed day after day for months by everyone, including the president and Clinton, the very people who instituted this policy. If it were Trump that was guilty of such a major contradiction, the press would never let it rest.

We have a media that would do the old Soviet Union Pravda proud. They discuss nothing substantial and report nothing that might interfere with the corporate bottom line.

About a month ago, Katie Couric produced a documentary on gun control. Fine, a topic that should be discussed. But it turned out that a question and answer session with a group of gun rights supporters was edited. After one particular question, the group was presented as sitting silent and unable to answer a question, making them look stupid and uninformed. But they answered immediately. The excuse was that it was done for “dramatic effect”. Seriously? Setting people up to appear they couldn’t answer? Media bias? Anyone who doubts it is a fool.
