Amnesty for Military Service Remains A Bad Idea

military_photoToday’s observance of Veterans’ Day is a  both a reminder of the price paid by our fellow Americans to protect our country and the tremendous courage displayed by those who served in our military. And yet earlier this year, the Obama administration was still expanding an amnesty program for illegal aliens that involved military service.

In April, FAIR reported that, “Last week, the military announced it will expand the Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program from 1,500 recruits a year to 3,000 by the end of this fiscal year, and 5,000 a year by fiscal year 2016 . . . Last June, the Administration announced that it would open the program to DACA recipients, and it began to do so in September.”
